throughout the month of May. Enjoy this fun series!
The Swan-Winged Prince is from the
fairy tale, The Six Swans. In it, six princes are turned into swans by a
wicked step-mother. To free them, their younger sister, must make six
shirts out of starwort and not speak or laugh for six years. A king
discovers her and they marry. The young Princess is accused of
witchcraft, but cannot defend herself. When brought to the stake she
throws the shirts over her brothers and they regain their human form,
except the youngest, whose shirt was not finished and was left with a
swan's wing. Read more here.
