I haven't posted one of these in a while

no one needs me anymore by Monkey Chow

I feel like such a downer all the time. There is no news I can release yet and I haven't done anything but work, work, work on getting items made for my next show at ACen.

Since I refuse to be just another complainer with a blog, I thought it would be fun to share something that has been giving me a smile during my time spent in the Bunny Mines.

I Love Books Monster Magnet by Vozamer

Audio Books!

I've been really fanatical about listening to audio books while I work. I think I've "read" more books in the past few months than I had last year.

Right now I'm "reading" How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell and I highly encourage everyone to pick it up if they can. (Very different from the movie, but very sweet.) The audio book is read by Mr. David Tennant. (I'm actually re-listening to this one, until I can make a trip to the book store.)

If your two hands are busy, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good book! It always puts a smile on my face.
Happy Reading!

New!

New in Moon's Creations today are two new Moon Buns to Raise Funds.

This first Moon Bun is a long time coming. She is for raising money to donate to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Many customers have requested this specific charity and here she is. Many apologies for the delay.

This second little bun was made specifically for a friend.
It hurts me so much when my friends are ill and I have no way to help them. The profits from this Moon Bun will be donated to the National Fibromyalgia Association.

I've just received word that from now through April 30th, RAINN will match donations dollar for dollar. That means every RAINN Moon Buns purchased will be a donation of $20!

Kitty-gurumi are back!

What's this? Two posts in one day?
I know, I know.
I've been so quiet and then I have an explosion of information. Well, this couldn't wait another day.

The Kitty-gurumi are back in stock at Moon's Creations!

Now you have the option of customizing the eye color of the basic Kitty-gurumi colors so they match your own little kitty!

White Kitty-gurumi come with either Blue, Green or Yellow Eyes.

Grey Kitty-gurumi come with Green or Yellow Eyes.

Gold Kitty-gurumi come with Green or Yellow Eyes.

Black Kitty-gurumi come with Green or Yellow Eyes.

But what if you don't have a solid colored kitty?

Tabbies, Tuxedos and Siamese will be arriving in late May!

See! I told you this would be an exciting post!

Moirae Moon Buns

This is my entry for a Mythology-based Plush Team challenge.

The Moirae, also known as the three fates, are from Greek mythology, but similar goddesses exist in Roman and Norse myth. These goddesses decide everyone's destiny. In early representations of the three, they were young and beautiful, however they have also been seen as hags. In my representation of these three goddesses, I chose to express them as the triple goddess of Maiden, Mother and Crone.

Clotho spun the thread of life.
Lachesis measured the thread of life allotted for each person.
Atropos cut the thread of life, choosing the manner of each person's death and when their time will come.

These three goddesses are available in the Plush Team store!

Working Hard!

Thank you, Boston!
Anime Boston was so much fun and I got to meet some wonderful people. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. I really hope to do it all over again next year!

It's been quiet on my blog lately. That of course means I've been up to something.
In the Bunny Mines, are new designs for Moon's Creations, stocking up for another convention (Anime Central) and preparing for a super secret surprise!

This coming week I'll be restocking a line of Amigurumi that were originally released last September. Can you guess what are coming back?

I'm also working on a project for the Plush Team, based on mythology!

This weekend will be a busy one for me, but I hope it will be very productive.
