A Most Dreary Weekend

I've got so many plans to do this weekend, but also so many chores. One day someone will invent the self-cleaning house.

Before it gets too messy with bunnies, I thought I might share a photo of my work space.

It's very cluttered and crowded, but this is where Moon Buns are Born.

Show me your Buns!

No, not those buns, Moon Buns!

On March 25th, Moon's Creations will be celebrating it's 2 year anniversary.

I'm compiling a photo collection of adopted Moon Buns and their friends in their new homes for the celebrations.

Jinx and Minx Moon Bun

I'm very proud to present the official Jinx and Minx Moon Buns.

Jinx and Minx are adorable toy bunnies, who were rejected for only having one eye. The new kindly shop keepers stitched a kiss on Jinx, and a heart on Minx and now they are available for you to take care of.

Jinx and Minx Moon Buns are each individually numbered and sold together and as a set in the Moon's Creations Etsy store.

Valentine's Day/February Moon Bun Designs

It's the month of love, so I decided to create 3 of my best-loved couples.

Romeo and Juliet from Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, but inspired by the 1996 film

Han Solo and Princess Leia from Star Wars: A New Hope

Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

These special sets even include a tiny plush heart.

Each set is packaged in these darling plastic Chinese-food-take-out boxes.

I just wish I would have been able to get these completed in time to ship for Valentine's Day. Better late then never right? right?

Moon Buns inspired by Japan & Valentine's Day

I was so inspired by the sights of Japan that I wanted to recreate them with my Moon Buns.

Totor Moon Buns were perhaps the most enjoyable design I've made in a long time. As a big fan of Studio Ghibli, I had to try to recreate these heart-warming characters in my own style.

The Moon Buns really enjoyed gather up truLuxe's acorns.

The Great Buddha of Kamakura Moon Bun.
This breathtaking statue of Amida Buddha was so inspiring.

It's my hope to release more Moon Buns inspired by my trip to Japan soon. Thank you for following Moons adventures!
