Moon Bun Pinback Buttons and a call for charity

New in the shop today!

These beautiful and adorable (is there such a word meaning both? beauable? adoraful?) pinback buttons feature the artwork of my favorite artist K. Ryan.

Also, new in the shop are these adorable bunny rabbit origami sets. Each set comes with one large and one small rabbit with a notebook. These sets were created by my best friend to help raise funds for those affected by the disasters in Japan.

Ball-joint Dolls and Moon Buns

 Those who have popped by my flickr account, may have noticed I collect Ball-Joint Dolls. The baby-sized Moon Buns were made specifically because I wanted my dolls to have their own Moon Buns.

Custom Order Corner

This will be the last Custom Order Corner while I prepare for a show in Boston. I plan to accept new custom orders and commissions in early May, but I'll make announcements as soon as I can.

In the mean time, if you have a  request you'd like to see in my shop during this lull, let me know in the comments and I'll try to squeeze them in while I marathon in the Bunny Mines.

Brand new in the shop today is a Chick Moon Bun! This little Moon Bun is disguised as a little chick and has a fully removable chicken hood.

New-ish Easter Design

I always pick up things while shopping to one day work into my designs and I found these adorable Easter eggs that had half a color and half clear plastic, but they were too small for anything. Until I made the Newborn Moon Buns! 

Tada! Baby bed! 

These little ones are now available to tuck into Easter baskets or lovingly rock on a shelf.

I've taken the pieces from the 31 Amigurumi in October series that were retired and in my personal collection and made them available again to the general public. 50% of the purchase price will be donated to the American Red Cross to help those in Japan.

Two New Sheep

Two new Sheep designs have been added to the shop today!

A black sheep and a pink lamb. Never seen a pink lamb before? Neither have I, but I lurve fluffy pale pink things so I had to buy the yarn to make pink lambs with!

How you can help

Every morning, the first thing I do is grab my phone, scroll through Twitter and read Emails. 

Today, the first thing I saw was the horror of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. All day, I watched twitter, the news and social networking sites, looking for friends. (Thankfully they are safe, though sadly this cannot be said for everyone.)

My heart goes out to everyone affected by this disaster. To help raise funds for the American Red Cross, I created this simple sakura or cherry blossom charms. The entire purchase price ($5) is being donated to the Red Cross.

I know I've been very quiet for several days, but I promise I've been working hard on making new designs and re-designing some old ones. The only thing holding me up is the stormy weather this week. Without sunny days, I can't get good photos of these new pieces.
