Love is in the Air

Pair o' Hares - Wedding, Anniversary or Anytime Greeting Card by FuzzyMug

Inspired by summer love and the recent engagement of one of my most favorite clients, I am working on some darling customizable Bride and Groom Moon Bun cake-toppers!

The proto-types are so adorable, I had to spill the beans a little early (even before photos have been taken!) Also I couldn't say "no" to highlighting the beautiful card by FuzzyMug. (Really! Go check out her shop!)

Expect to see the little Brides and Grooms walk down the aisle to Moon's Creations very soon!

Commissions and Custom Orders Open

Hooray!

I am now accepting amigurumi commissions and custom orders!

Yeti Moon Bun

Yet another piece that was heavily requested from the Luv-able & Hug-able show, here is a remake of my Yeti Moon Bun. This cutie is now available in the shop!

I've finally cleared out my schedule, with a few project to finish this weekend. This means I will be able to accept commissions very, very soon.
The official announcement will be made on all of my sites.
Stay tuned!

Things That Make Me Smile

The Crumpled Paper that is my Life by Miami Cyn

There is nothing better than balling it up a piece of paper (maybe containing a regrettable love letter from middle school or a sketch that just looks ridiculous) and tossing it away. It's renewing! With this simple act, I feel like I've totally destroyed the past mistakes and am filled with a sense of new beginnings.

For two years, I haven't had the opportunity to take part in my person catharsis. Due to one little culprit, Winston.

If you've followed this blog, you may have seen a photo or two of Winston appear. He is my darling little rescue with a personality of pure naughty and sweetness. An orange and white devil with a love for me and all things paper.

it offends him by mooncalfness

To keep him from marauding our recycling bin, we must place all papers flat. Even a folded sheet of paper becomes kitty gold. However today, I risked it! I balled up a piece of paper and tossed it into the bin.
Hooray for new beginnings!

Please note, five minutes later, I had to chase him through the house to retrieve the paper ball, but it was worth it.

Penguin Moon Bun

After several requests following the Luv-able & Hug-able Show, I've recreated my Penguin Moon Bun and made it available in the shop!

My Bunny Sleeps by Zellaby

Hello Everyone!
I'm finally back from Maker Faire! It was an absolute blast and was so wonderful to actually hang out with some fantastic Plush Team members. (Pictures to follow!)

For now, I'm gulping coffee by the buckets in an attempt to recover from jet lag, but I do have some exciting news for you.

With these two shows over, I have some new stock that is in need of photographing, so please keep an eye open for them over the week.

Also, I'll be re-introducing the Jinx and Minx Moon Buns!

There are a few more secret projects in the works, so please keep checking back here for sneak peeks and announcements!

Maker Faire

This weekend, I will be helping out the Plush Team at Maker Faire in San Mateo, California. If you're in the area, drop by! We'll be offering a wonderful assortment of classes on how to make your own plush! Check out a list of classes here!

I'm not sure how great my internet access will be while I'm there, so I'm closing down the shop until I get back on Monday morning!

I hope to see some of you there!

Schmancy Exclusive

These special edition Mutant Moon Buns are limited to series of 3 of each design and will be sold exclusively through Schmancy starting on May 19th. These are a very limited series and once they are gone, will be gone forever.
