Hello Moon Bun Lovers!

Perhaps you've noticed new work at Moon's Creations has been going slowly. Perhaps you haven't noticed and I'm just paranoid that I'm not working fast enough. 

Either way, there is a reason for this. I'm expecting! 

Mr. Moons and I have been trying for several years and suffered much loss and sadness, so this little one is quite a blessing for us. We have successfully left the first trimester behind and are expecting to meet our little Moon Bun at the end of August.

I appreciate all of your support during this time and look forward to continuing work at the Bunny Mines.

How to place a custom order or commission with Moon's Creations

Next week, Moon's Creations will begin accepting new custom orders. 

As soon as this happens, I will place posts here, on Twitter, Facebook and all the other various social networks I am on, as well as in my shop announcements. 

This guide is to help familiarize those interested in placing a custom order with the process. Every custom order period, I only have a few slots available and they do fill up very quickly.

How to place a custom order:

♥ To start a commission or custom order, first send me a message or email with a detailed description of what you want made. 

♥ I will respond with a quote for the price and date for the earliest I can complete the project.

♥ Reply to my message, confirming you'd like to proceed with the commission and what method of payment you'd like to use. (Paypal is preferred, but I can accept Postal Money Orders.) We will then handle your deposit.

Please note, custom orders are taken as first come, first serve based upon receiving the deposit. I cannot hold a space for you unless I receive the deposit. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin work, as I need to purchase supplies, and to lock in the quoted completion date.

♥ After I receive your deposit, I will make your commission.

♥ When your commission is complete, I will send you a message including photos of the completed piece for your approval. If you desire any changes, this is the opportunity to make them.

♥ Once you approve, your final payment is requested within one week of completion. If I do not receive a reply within the one week window, your custom piece may be put up for sale to the general public.

I'm very sorry, but I cannot honor any coupons for custom work.

What's up, Moons?

My goodness! Where did January go? 

I feel like I've been underground in the Bunny Mines for far too long. 

So what's been going on behind the scenes, you ask? 

Well, I've been working on my last custom order from the previous order period and should be done this week. 

I'm also preparing for the anime convention, Katsucon. This convention is held at the National Harbor in Maryland and will be from February 17 - 19. 

Following Katsucon, I will be releasing several new designs I've been quietly working on. I really think everyone will enjoy these new pieces.

I will also be opening up custom orders again! 

Please look forward to a blog post on how the process takes place so you are prepared. Once I start accepting custom orders, announcements will be posted on all of my social networks as well as in my shop announcements. (The best place to look is on Twitter, as that's updated the fastest.)

Hello! Hello!

I hope the new year has been treating you well. At Moon's Creations we are moving a change in appearance! Check out this fantastic new store banner. I have one for each season. (This makes me so happy I just can't help squeeing every time I visit the shop.)

After having a successful show at MagFest, I returned to the Bunny Mines with a terrible cold. (The worst I've had since I was little.) I've been taking it easy and drink lots of fluids. I'm hoping to be back to full-strength and releasing new designs very soon!
